According to a recent study, the Tyrannosaurus Rex was basically the Homer Simpson of dinosaurs.The above image also happens to be one of my favorite dinosaur artist renderings of all time. Second only to this. But I digress, more on the deadbeat dinosaur “Gorgosaurus” below.
All were big, had short arms and were often reconstructed as being on the more rotund and slow-moving side of scale. Tyrannosaurus may have had enough star power to regularly overcome this type of imagery.
